SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Local Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering providers such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it's alarmed about the substantial range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The goal on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a significant amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is because sassa of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The service stage developed for intervention encounters a substantial influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it tricky for that office to attend to all people who pay a visit to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all consumers and boost use of Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
